Plot
Out of My Mind tells the tale of an 11-year-old girl named Melody Brooks who is suffering from a neuro disorder called cerebral palsy. This disorder has seriously hurt Brooks’ ability to move, compelling her to spend a major part of her life sitting in a wheelchair.
However, regardless of all the challenges, Brooks has a positive mindset & is also blessed with a photographic memory. How the young girl uses all her skills to self-reflect on her life & earn respect to prove her worth to everyone who has belittled her is the main story of the film.
