Kanguva OTT Release Date: The digital premiere date of Suriya’s latest Tamil movie Kanguva is finally out. According to the official website of Amazon Prime Video, which owns the OTT right of the fantasy thriller, the movie, on December 13, 2024will become available for watching on the streaming platform with a basic subscription to its services.
This comes a treat for the fans who missed the chance to enjoy this promising Bobby Deol starrer during its theatrical run as they will now have the option to enjoy the flick right from the comfort of their homes.
Additionally, as the makers will roll out the Siva directorial actioner on the digital streamer in multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, it will naturally cater to a wide range of Pan-Indian audiences & help the movie’s popularity reach new heights. It now remains to see how this mega-budget epic performs on the OTT in the coming days.
Kaguva at the Box Office
Meanwhile, speaking of Kanguva’s Box Office journey, the film, made on a mammoth budget of Rs 300+ crores arrived in the theaters earlier this month on November 14th, 2024.
Despite having a decent buzz around its release, the film failed to fare well with the audiences in cinemas & ended its Box Office Journey as a massive flop after collecting a lukewarm sum of Rs 131 crore from the ticket windows.

Besides pitting Suriya & Bobby’s characters against one another for an intense showdown, Kanguva also boasted other talented actors including K. S. Ravikumar, Yogi Babu, Disha Patani, Natarajan Subramaniam, Redin Kingsley, and Kovai Sarala in pivotal roles. The film is bankrolled by V. Vamsi Krishna Reddy, K. E. Gnanavel Raja, and Pramod Uppalapati under the banner of UV Creations & Studio Green.
