The Department of Telecommunications (DOT) of India has announced the 5G Innovation Hacathan 2025. This is a special six -month special initiative, aimed at developing a 5G -based state -of -the -art solution, which can solve the major challenges of society and industry.
Who can take part?
Student Startups Professional (Industry Experts, Technology Innovators)
Those participating in the competition will get access up to mentorship, funding and more than 100 5G use case labs, allowing them to convert their ideas into real and scalable technology.

Initiative to make India a global leader in 5G innovation
The Department of Telecommunications has set a budget of Rs 1.5 crore for this hackathon. It aims to develop over 50 scalable 5G prototypes, generate 25+ patents and strengthen cooperation between industry, academic and government institutions.
5G Innovation Hackathon 2025 is an important step towards making India a leading 5G technology globally. This initiative is going to take innovation and technical revolution to a new height.
