Government’s big decision amid LPG crisis, poor and laborers will get 5 kg gas cylinder, know how to apply

LPG Gas: Due to the ongoing war in the countries of West Asia, there is a huge shortage of LPG gas cylinders across the country. At many places, the situation is such that people stand in queues in front of gas agencies the whole day for cylinders, yet they are not able to get the cylinder. Considering this problem of the citizens, the Government of India has taken a big decision. Actually, the government has now decided to provide small 5 kg cylinders to laborers and low income people. The aim of the government is to provide gas even to those people for whom 14.2 kg cylinder is expensive or who are not able to refill it on time due to financial constraints.

How to get 5 kg LPG connection?

Amidst the increasing LPG crisis in the country, the government has given great relief to the citizens by starting this facility. Only the person who does not already have an LPG gas connection in his house can avail this facility. Only women can apply for small gas cylinder of 5 kg. To apply, the age of the woman should be 18 years or more, only then she will be able to get the gas connection. For this, important documents like Aadhar card, ration card, bank account and passport size photo will be required.

Two facilities are provided for gas connection

The government has made a special arrangement for laborers and weaker sections. Migrant laborers who do not have any proof of their local address can also apply through self-declaration and avail this facility. Two facilities have been provided to get the connection of 5 kg gas cylinder. The first facility is that you can go to your nearest gas agency and fill the form. Under the second facility, you can apply online and choose the gas company of your choice. After this, your gas connection will be released as soon as the verification process is completed.
