Patna. Many important decisions were taken in the recent cabinet meeting of the state government, which will have a direct impact on the lives of common people. From employment to education, electricity and infrastructure, the government has taken many big steps simultaneously. These decisions are being considered as a big relief for the public and an important initiative towards development.
1. Opportunity for youth through police recruitment
With the aim of strengthening law and order in the state and providing employment to the youth, a decision has been taken to recruit more than 20 thousand posts in the police department. Half of these posts will be filled by promotion, while the remaining posts will be filled by direct recruitment. This will open new job opportunities for the youth.
2. New identity under the name ‘Patna Zoo’
The famous biological garden of the capital will now be known by a new name. The Cabinet has approved changing its name to ‘Patna Zoo’, thereby trying to give it a simple and popular identity.
3. 63 proposals approved
A total of 63 important proposals were given green signal in the cabinet meeting. To strengthen financial management, the Contingency Fund has been significantly increased on a temporary basis. Apart from this, new posts have also been created for cyber treasury operations, which will further strengthen the administrative system.
4. Relief to electricity consumers
Taking a big decision for electricity consumers, the government has approved a subsidy scheme worth thousands of crores. This will reduce the burden on electricity bills of common people and will provide relief to the household budget.
5. Ganga Path Project approved
Construction of new routes along the banks of Ganga has been approved to increase connectivity in the state. Construction of new Ganga path between Bidupur and Dighwara will make transportation easier and business activities will also gain momentum.
6. Increased support for students
The hostel assistance amount for SC and ST students has been doubled. This will provide direct financial benefit to thousands of students and will increase the convenience of their studies.
