6 girls and 4 boys were partying in a cafe, huge uproar over allegations of love jihad
Bareilly: The birthday party of a nursing student in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh turned into an arena of uproar when Bajrang Dal workers reached there. The case pertains to a famous cafe in Rajendra Nagar area, where the student was celebrating her birthday with her college friends. This party included 6 girls and 4 boys along with the student, out of which 2 students belonged to the Muslim community. Due to this very thing, the workers of Hindu organization started creating ruckus on the spot, alleging ‘Love Jihad’.
High voltage drama suddenly started inside the cafe
On her happy occasion, the student had hosted a feast for her special college friends with whom she studies day and night. As soon as the party started, Bajrang Dal workers got the news of the presence of Muslim youth there. The activists entered the cafe and alleged that a conspiracy for love jihad was being hatched there. The girl students and youth present in the party were horrified by this sudden protest. There was a commotion on the spot for a long time and the student looked extremely distressed.
Truth came out in police investigation
As soon as information about the uproar was received, the police team immediately reached the spot and started investigating the matter. When the police deeply investigated the claims of Bajrang Dal, they did not find any clue of love jihad there. Officials clarified that no objectionable or controversial activity was taking place in the cafe. The police explained to the protesters present on the spot and pacified the matter. Keeping security in mind, the police called the family members of the girl students and handed them over to them. However, in another case of violation of rules, the police have taken action against two employees of the cafe.
Student raised questions: ‘Why look at friends’ religion?’
Saddened by this whole controversy, the nursing student said that it was her personal birthday party and she had only invited her friends. The student says that when they all study together in the same college and are friends, then why should anyone have any objection to their religion? He described the uproar as completely unnecessary.
