6 Southeast Asia’s airports achieve global recognitions
Singapore’s Changi Airport topped The Telegraph’s November survey, defeating more than 60 contenders to be crown the world’s best airport.
The ranking evaluated the 50 busiest airports globally in 2023, alongside the 20 busiest in Europe, using over 30 criteria, including connectivity, reliability, practicality, and passenger experience.
Key factors such as Wi-Fi speed, quality of restaurants and lounges, outdoor terraces, rest zones, drinking water fountains, and mobile charging points played a crucial role.
Spanning over one million square meters across four terminals—equivalent to 156 football fields, Changi, home to the world’s largest indoor waterfall, is lauded for its state-of-the-art amenities like duty-free shopping and luxury accommodations.
