6000 consumers themselves got relief from LPG cylinders and returned LPG connections, now only PNG is threatening in these areas

News India Live, Digital Desk: The picture of kitchens in the country’s capital and surrounding areas is now changing rapidly. The ‘Clean Energy’ campaign of the Central Government has got a big success, where about 6000 consumers have voluntarily surrendered their traditional LPG connections after getting the facility of PNG (Piped Natural Gas). The Petroleum Ministry has appreciated this step and called it a big step towards modern India. The government has clarified that in the areas where the PNG network has been spread, the dependence on LPG is gradually being eliminated. Why is the craze for PNG increasing? Convenience won the hearts of consumers. The increasing inclination towards PNG is not just a change, but a new definition of convenience. Due to PNG connection, there is no fear of the cylinder running out nor does one have to wait long for booking. Consumers say that PNG is not only safe but it is also cheaper than LPG. Seeing this ease, thousands of families have said ‘tata-bye-bye’ to their old heavy cylinders. Government’s big plan: The burden of LPG subsidy will be less. According to sources, the government is considering stopping or limiting the supply of LPG in those areas where PNG’s infrastructure is completely ready. This will not only save logistics costs, but will also reduce the subsidy burden on the government. The 6000 people who have left their connections are also being given a special letter of thanks from the department. This initiative is being seen as a model for other urban areas, which will give new strength to ‘Digital and Clean India’. Piped gas is a double dose of safety and savings. Experts believe that the spread of PNG is also a boon for the environment. Pollution caused by vehicles carrying cylinders will be reduced and the risk of gas leakage in homes also becomes minimal. The government aims to connect 100 percent of the houses in big cities with pipelines in the coming two years, so that the public can get rid of the problems faced in home delivery of cylinders forever.
