7 Seater SUV: Skoda’s Peak EV unveiled! Know luxury features, price and range

7 Seater SUV: Skoda has introduced its new flagship electric SUV Skoda Peak EV in the global market. It is considered to be the company’s most premium and technologically advanced electric SUV till date. Equipped with a 7-seater layout, a range of up to 647 kilometers and high-tech features, this SUV is ready to challenge vehicles like Mercedes, Volvo EX90 and Kia EV9 in the premium electric segment. According to media reports, the company can also launch it in the Indian market in future.

SUV will be available in three variants
Skoda Peak EV has been introduced in the international market with three different variants.

Peak 60
This base variant comes with a 63kWh battery pack. Its electric motor produces 204 horsepower and offers a driving range of up to 459 kilometers on a single charge.

Peak 90
This variant has a large 91kWh battery, which generates power of 286 horsepower. This model is capable of giving a maximum range of up to 647 kilometers in a single charge.

Peak 90x
The top variant gets a dual motor setup with all-wheel-drive (AWD) system. It produces 299 horsepower and offers a range of up to 613 kilometers. This SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds.

fast charging
With the help of DC fast charging technology, its battery can be charged from 10 percent to 80 percent in just 27-28 minutes.

Great design and huge space
The approximately 4.9 meter long Skoda Peak EV has seating arrangements for seven people in three rows.

front design
At the front of the SUV, a black tech-deck facia has been given in place of the traditional grille. Along with this, T-shaped matrix LED headlights and attractive DRLs further strengthen its premium identity.

side profile
The vehicle has been provided with large alloy wheels ranging from 19 to 21 inches and flush door handles, which give it a modern and futuristic look.

large boot space
By folding the third row seats, it gets a boot space of up to 935 litres, which is considered to be the largest boot space in any Skoda car till date.

Hi-tech and luxury cabin
The interior of the Skoda Peak EV offers a great blend of comfort and technology.

Big screen and premium audio
The cabin has a large 13.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10-inch digital instrument cluster. A 16-speaker Sonos premium sound system is also available to enhance the music experience.

Digital key and bi-directional charging
This is Skoda’s first electric SUV that can be locked and unlocked through a smartphone or smartwatch. Apart from this, through the bi-directional charging feature, the power needs of other electronic devices or home can also be met from the vehicle’s battery.

Relax Package
The optional Relax package offers features like seats with massage function, power adjustable leg rest, cushions and foldable table, which make long journeys more comfortable.

There is no compromise even in security
Many advanced features for safety have been included in Skoda Peak EV.

Launch and expected price in India
According to reports, Skoda Peak EV could be launched in India during 2027. Initially the company can import it as a completely built (CBU) unit.

Its starting price in the UK market has been kept at 51,980 pounds (about Rs 65 lakh). However, its price may be higher due to import duties and taxes in India. Despite this, it can emerge as a relatively affordable option in the premium electric SUV segment compared to expensive vehicles like Kia EV9.

With a powerful range, luxury features, spacious cabin and modern technology, Skoda Peak EV could prove to be the company’s most ambitious offering in the global electric SUV market.
