This is how salary calculation is done

The amount that comes by adding this DA amount to the basic salary (Basic Salary Hike) and grade pay will be the new salary. Like Rs 10 thousand is the basic salary. One thousand rupees is on grade pay.

Adding these two will amount to Rs 11 thousand. By multiplying 11 thousand by 53 percent, DA amount will be Rs 5830 (DA Hike latest update). By adding Rs 5830 to Rs 11 thousand, the salary will become Rs 16830, that is, the salary has increased by about Rs 330 as compared to the previous DA percentage. Salary structure will also be different according to different basic pay.

According to media reports, central employees will get increased salary in the month of November. The increased dearness allowance will be applicable from July 1, hence employees will also get arrears of dearness allowance (DA Arrear news) for August, September and October.
