It is believed that before Diwali, Yogi Adityanath government of UP is going to announce increase in DA and bonus, which will be like a big gift.

By what percentage will DA of UP employees increase?

It is considered possible for the Uttar Pradesh government to increase the Dearness Allowance (DA) by 3 percent. After this increase, DA will be 53 percent. More than 14 lakh employees and pensioners will benefit from this. There will be a bumper increase in salary. DA rates will be considered effective from July 1, 2024, which will be like a gift for everyone.

Central employees received gifts

The DA of the employees was approved in the Union Cabinet meeting on Wednesday. This time, 3 percent increase in DA was approved, which will prove to be a big gift. DA of employees has now increased to 53 percent. Earlier, the employees were getting the benefit of 50 percent DA.

About 1 crore employees and pensioners have received this gift, which will prove to be like a booster dose in inflation. However, the government has already given a big blow to the pending DA arrears of 18 months.
