Desk: On Tuesday morning, 8 buses and 3 cars collided with each other in Mathura on Delhi-Agra Expressway. There was such a severe collision between the vehicles going from Agra to Noida that all the vehicles caught fire. In this accident, 4 people died and 25 passengers were injured.

Mathura SSP said about the accident that the incident took place near Mile Stone 127 near village Khadehra of Baldev police station on Agra to Noida route. As soon as the information was received, a large number of fire brigade and police forces reached the spot. Relief work is going on. The injured are being taken to the hospital by ambulance. The bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem. Whereas other vehicles have been arranged to take the passengers traveling in buses to their destination. The condition of the injured is out of danger.

Eyewitnesses said that 8 buses and 3 small cars collided with each other. Due to which many passengers got stuck inside the vehicles. While many passengers managed to save their lives by jumping down. At the same time, the passengers trapped inside were burnt to death. Local people immediately informed the police and administration about the incident. Saurabh of Kanpur, who escaped by jumping from the bus after the accident, said that the fog was dense and nothing was visible. Due to which 8 buses and about 3 cars collided with each other, after the accident the vehicles caught fire and more than 5 people got burnt inside. While many people are injured and have been admitted to the hospital.

What did the DM say?

Chandra Prakash Singh District Magistrate Mathura said that 5 buses and 2 vehicles collided with each other in the accident. Due to which a fire broke out, in which 4 people died. The Chief Minister took cognizance of the incident and has given instructions for better treatment of the injured and has given instructions to give Rs 2 lakh from the relief amount to the deceased.
