“CM Pinarayi Vijayan is afraid of PM Modi to save children..” Rahul Gandhi said attack, also mentioned Exalogic case

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday launched a scathing attack on Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Addressing an election rally in Fort Kochi, he claimed that the Chief Minister wants to save his children, that is why he is afraid of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During this, Rahul Gandhi raised the issue of corruption and said that Vijayan has compromised with corruption while in power, the consequences of which he is now having to suffer.

Without directly naming anyone, Rahul Gandhi specifically mentioned the Exalogic case allegedly involving Chief Minister Vijayan’s daughter. He said that this case involves serious allegations of illegal financial transactions between Cochin Minerals and Rutile Limited and Exalogic Solutions. Exalogic Solutions, a company owned by Vijayan’s daughter Veena, is now defunct. Rahul Gandhi linked this matter to the conduct of the Chief Minister and said that this situation raises questions on his political and moral claims.

“What father wouldn’t try to protect his children?” (Rahul Gandhi)

The Congress leader made an emotional appeal, saying, “Which father will not try to protect his children? It is a natural thing.” But he immediately hit out at Vijayan, saying, “The problem is that you have allowed acts that now require protection. You have allowed acts that now require protection.” Rahul Gandhi emphasized that it is very important to understand whose security this Left Front leader wants. “He is seeking protection from the extreme right-wing forces of the country. This situation clearly reflects the current nature of Kerala politics,” he alleged.

Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi further claimed in his address that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is sacrificing the governance of the state to save his children. He said that Vijayan’s past actions have trapped him to such an extent that now he has to make compromises to save his reputation. According to Rahul Gandhi, the direct brunt of these agreements is being borne by the people of Kerala, who deserve a good and transparent governance system.

Left Front accused of collusion with right-wing forces

Rahul Gandhi also made serious allegations against the ruling Left Democratic Front (LDF). He said that LDF is now a leftist organization in name only. In fact, it has colluded with the worst political forces in the country. The Congress leader alleged that this force targets people on the basis of their religion, whether they are Christian, Muslim, Sikh or Jain. Rahul Gandhi called such an alliance a direct attack on the Constitution of India, which is an attack on the secular roots of the country.

The Congress leader asked a direct question to Chief Minister Vijayan, “How can the Chief Minister stand with him? Why is he not ashamed of it even after receiving leftist education? He is associated with this force.” Rahul Gandhi stressed that Pinarayi Vijayan will have to answer to the people of Kerala on this alliance and his conduct. He said that the people of Kerala have the right to know what political ideology their leaders are representing and in whose interest their decisions are.

Rahul Gandhi also attacked Prime Minister Modi

The Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha also continued his attacks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Rahul Gandhi alleged that Prime Minister Modi is under pressure from US President Donald Trump on sensitive issues related to Adani Group and Epstein files. While raising these issues, he questioned the transparency of the Central Government and said that maintaining silence on these big matters gives rise to many doubts.

Rahul Gandhi also mentioned another matter related to Sabarimala temple. He alleged that Prime Minister Modi’s silence on the gold theft incident from the Sabarimala temple indicates an attempt to help the ruling Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) in the state. Rahul Gandhi said that some CPI(M) leaders had earlier been arrested in connection with this case. Their silence points to political collusion in the state, claimed Rahul Gandhi.

At the end of his address, Rahul Gandhi appealed to the people of Kerala to vote in favor of the Congress Party. He said the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) will implement its five guarantees if voted to power. Rahul Gandhi described these guarantees as a means of bringing positive change in the lives of the people of Kerala and assured that the UDF will provide a transparent and people-oriented government.
