All India Railwaymen's Federation chief and JCM national council secretary Shiv Gopal Mishra said a meeting will be held next month and some clarity is expected on the 8th Pay Commission. Therefore, the organization said in its letter that the new pay commission should make recommendations according to these changing circumstances.

No clear statement has yet come from the government on this issue. But the 8th Pay Commission is expected to be discussed in the upcoming JCM meeting. If a consensus is reached then it can be a big relief and good news for government employees.
