The time given by the government clearly shows that the commission will submit its report to the government in the year 2027. Further action will be taken by the government only after the recommendations are received. That is, central employees may have to wait a long time for the Eighth Pay Commission.
How much will the budget increase with the 8th Pay Commission?
MPs also raised an important question related to the 8th Pay Commission that how much additional burden will it put on the government budget if its recommendations are implemented. On this, the government made it clear that at present it is not possible to make an accurate estimate of this expenditure. According to the government, the actual financial impact cannot be assessed until the commission submits its report and gets its approval. That means the entire plan related to the budget can be prepared only after the final report of the commission comes.
