8th Pay Commission Meetings: 8th pay commission (8th Pay Commission) Under this, preparations have been intensified regarding the recommendations to be submitted to the Central Government regarding salaries, pensions, allowances, leave policies, health facilities and other related issues. Some special dates of the months of May and June are going to prove to be very important for the employees and pensioners of the entire country. If you also fall in the category of employees or pensioners, then you should note these dates. 4-5 May, 18-19 May, 31 May, 1-4 June and 8 June.
These are the dates which can bring good news for the employees and pensioners of the entire country. Most of these dates are related to the important meetings of the 8th Pay Commission which are going to be held in different parts of the country, while a specific date has been fixed as the deadline.
There will be many important meetings
In fact, the 8th Pay Commission has already held several important meetings with different organizations of employees and pensioners from Delhi to Dehradun and collected their suggestions. National President of AINPSEF, Dr. Manjit Singh Patel told NDTV that the meetings which started on April 28 in Delhi continued till April 30. During these sessions, the Commission headed by Justice Ranjana Prakash Dwivedi deliberated on the demands put forward by the representatives of employees and pensioners. After the end of the first round of discussions under the 8th Pay Commission, now the second round of meetings is about to begin.

Requested to organizations
After the round of meetings in Delhi is over, the Commission is now moving towards the next phase of its contact programme. The next stop of the 8th Central Pay Commission tour will start from Pune and after that it will reach many other cities of the country. During these meetings the 8th Central Pay Commission will continue to review and consider the demands put forward by the employees and pensioners’ organizations. The Commission has requested employees’ and pensioners’ organizations, delegations and other concerned parties to submit their memorandums and request meetings through the official portal within the stipulated time limit.

Now when will the meetings take place?
- The 8th Central Pay Commission meetings will be held in Pune on 4th and 5th May.
- After this, the Commission will hold meetings in Hyderabad on 18th and 19th.
- 8th Pay Commission meetings will be organized in Srinagar from 1-4 June.
- After this, the Central Pay Commission will visit Ladakh on June 8, 2026.
