41.17% polling recorded in Jammu and Kashmir elections till 1 pm – LIVE HINDI KHABAR

Live Hindi News :- Assembly elections are being held in Jammu and Kashmir after ten years. The first phase of voting is starting at 7 am today (September 18) in 24 constituencies. It has been reported that 41.17 percent votes have been cast till 1 pm. Earlier, 26.72 percent voting was recorded till 11 am. About 23.27 lakh voters are eligible to vote in the first phase of voting. Since the voting started this morning, voters are eagerly queuing up to perform their democratic duty. Despite the bitter cold, voting is taking place peacefully without any dispute or problem.

According to the Election Commission, 56.86% voting took place in Kishtwar, 50.81% in Toda, 49.68% in Ramban, 38.72% in Shopian, 39.91% in Kulham, 37.90% in Anandnag and 29.84% in Pulwama. Voting started at 7 am and will end at 6 pm. 60% voting expected: Meanwhile, Chief Electoral Officer PK Paul said that voting is going on peacefully in Jammu and Kashmir. He said, “The election is going on fast. When you see the enthusiasm of the people coming to vote, it seems that the voting percentage is high. We expect 60 percent voting. Voting is going on freely and peacefully. Rahul's call: Earlier, BJP and Congress called upon the people of Kashmir to vote in the elections.

Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi in a post on his X page has called upon people to come and vote and said, “My brothers and sisters in Jammu and Kashmir. The first phase of voting is taking place today. For the first time in the history of the country, the statehood of a state has been taken away and it has been turned into a Union Territory. This is a violation of all your constitutional rights and an insult to Jammu and Kashmir. It said, “Your every vote cast for the India alliance will bring back your rights, provide employment, empower women, bring you out of the era of injustice and make Jammu and Kashmir prosperous again. Special voting: 35,500 people of the migrant Kashmiri Pandit community are eligible to vote in the first phase of the election. They vote in 16 constituencies. A total of 24 special polling stations have been set up for them, including 19 in Jammu, 1 in Udhampur and 4 in Delhi.
