Rohit Sharma's Indian team accomplished a miracle, such a feat happened for the first time in 92 years of history
Between India and Bangladesh (IND vs BAN 1st Test) at Chepauk Stadium, Chennai Test Series The first match of the 2018 World Cup was played where on the fourth day of the match, Team India won by defeating Bangladesh by 280 runs. With this, Rohit Sharma (Rohit Sharma)'s Team India has done the feat that was being awaited for 92 years. Team India could not do this feat even under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni (MS Dhoni) and Virat Kohli (Virat Kohli).
In fact, this is the first time in the history of Indian Test cricket that Team India has registered more wins than losses in the Test format. India has played a total of 580 Test matches so far, out of which they have won 179 and lost 178. During this period, Team India has drawn 222 Tests while one match ended in a tie.
India has become the seventh country to achieve this feat. Before them, Australia (1 match), Afghanistan (3 matches), Pakistan (16 matches), England (23 matches), West Indies (99 Tests) and South Africa (340) had achieved this feat. Whereas New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, Bangladesh and Ireland have not been able to do so till now.
Team India did not lose a single Test series under Rohit's captaincy
Also know that Rohit Sharma has been a complete hit as a captain in the Test format so far. Team India has played 17 Tests under his captaincy out of which the team has won 11 matches. It is worth noting that during this period India did not lose a single series.
Under Rohit's captaincy, India defeated Sri Lanka 2-0. Defeated Australia 2-1. Defeated West Indies 1-0. And thrashed England 4-1. Meanwhile, the Test series with South Africa was also drawn 1-1. And now under the captaincy of Hitman, Team India has left Bangladesh behind 1-0.
