Due to this, there was heavy traffic jam on Hosur Road, Heppal Road and Mysore Road. In such a situation, office goers faced a lot of trouble. The rains left the campuses of IT institutes in Whitefield, IDPL and Manyata flooded. The IT employees working there could not get into the car and had to wade in knee-deep water.

More than 150 houses built in low-lying areas in Mahadevapura, Maratha Halli and Koramangala were submerged in water. Due to which the corporation employees are busy in water drainage work. More than 40 trees along the roads were uprooted, affecting traffic at some places. Meanwhile, Karnataka Meteorological Department said, “17.2 mm rainfall has been recorded in Bengaluru in the last 24 hours. There is a possibility of moderate rain in 4 districts adjacent to Bengaluru for the next 3 days.
