Latest News :- The Tirumala seven Malayan temples were preserved without any damage during the reigns of the Chera, Chola, Pandya, Pallava kings, Vijayanagara emperor Sri Krishna Devaraya, Kakkadiyar, Chalukya, Sultan, Nawab of Arcot and Mahandu. In this, Shri Krishna Devaraya also lived in Chandragiri Fort near Tirupati. Whenever he came to Chandragiri from Vijayanagara, he along with his titled queens Tirumala Devi and Chinnamadevi would go to Tirumala with various offerings and have darshan of the Swami. He has gifted a gold naivethiya egg, a diamond crown and jewelery to the temple. Munirathnam, a researcher at the Mysore Archaeological Survey inscription department, said the inscriptions also revealed that they had performed Suvarnabhishekam with gold coins at the source. He also said, “The details of the gold, materials etc. given by Sri Krishna Devaraya to the Tirupati temple can be found at the place where the seven Malayan temple money is kept, i.e. in the area where the idol of Lakshmi is kept. ” During the time of Shri Krishna Devaraya, many development works were done in Tirupati Eyumalayan Temple.

Donations etc. are given to the devotees. Although many kings have carried out various developments for the Tirupati temple, only the idol of Sri Krishna Devaraya and his two wives survives.
