Latest News :- Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed pride that Pali language has got the status of a classical language and this will help in spreading the great legacy of Buddha to the world. Participating in the International Abhidhamma Day event celebrating the teachings of Buddha, he said: The central government has given the status of classical language to the ancient Pali language. This will help in showing the great legacy of Buddha to the world. At the same time, we should also know that the Congress Party, which was in power after independence, ignored India's cultural heritage without appreciating it.

There are many lessons to be learned from the Buddha in today's geopolitical environment. Accordingly, all countries should focus on avoiding war and making way for peace. While every country takes pride in the heritage associated with its identity, India is far behind. This is because those who invaded India before independence tried to destroy our identity. The subsequent rulers (Congress), suffering from the mentality of slavery, adopted the same method. Now that situation has changed.

The country is now free from inferiority complex and is moving forward with self-respect and confidence. It is because of this change that the government takes bold decisions. It is only a part of this that gave classical status to Pali. The policies and programs of my government are guided by the teachings of Lord Buddha. Similarly, a world plagued by instability and insecurity can find solutions to its problems from the teachings of the Buddha. According to Buddha, conflict and disagreement do not lead to peace. The world should understand that there is no greater happiness than peace, PM Modi said.
