More than 20 flights received bomb threats in India on October 19

Latest News :- Since today (October 19) morning, more than 20 flights of various Indian airlines have received bomb threats. Air India, IndiGo, Agasa Air, Vistara, SpiceJet, Star Air and Alliance Air have reportedly been threatened. Threats have been made against an IndiGo flight from Delhi to Istanbul via Mumbai, another IndiGo flight from Jodhpur to Delhi and a Vistara flight from Udaipur to Mumbai. Indigo has issued two separate statements regarding the bomb threat.

It said, we are aware of the situation following a bomb threat on a flight from New Delhi to Istanbul via Mumbai. Our company is working closely with the relevant authorities and taking all necessary precautions as per their instructions. In a separate statement, IndiGo said, “Flight 6E 184 from Jodhpur to Delhi has received a security alert. The flight has landed in Delhi. The passengers have disembarked. We are coordinating with security agency procedures. Vistara said in a statement, “Flight UK 624 from Udaipur to Mumbai received a bomb threat shortly before landing.

After landing at Mumbai airport, the plane was taken to a quarantine area for mandatory testing. Airline sources said that since this morning (October 19) more than 20 flights have received bomb threats. Yesterday (October 18), three international flights of Vistara received bomb threats. It was later confirmed that this was a hoax. However, one flight was diverted to Frankfurt as a precaution. In the last few days, more than 40 flights operated by Indian airlines have received bomb threats. It was later revealed that it was a hoax. It is noteworthy that serious investigation is being done in this regard.
