Meanwhile, Delhi Police said they were investigating a possible Khalistan connection after a Telegram report said the blast was in response to a targeted attack by Indian agents on Khalistan supporters. The investigation team has said that they have sought details about the Telegram channel of 'Justice League India'. He said that he has not yet received any response from the Telegram channel.

The blast message came with the watermark 'Khalistan Zindabad' on Sunday evening. The message said, “India's cowardly agencies and their masters are living in a fool's world if they think they can suppress the voice of our members by hiring thugs. They cannot even imagine how close we are to them and how capable we are of attacking at any time. #KhalistanZindabad, #JLI,” it said.
