Vice President Dhankhar meets former PM HD Deve Gowda at his residence in Bengaluru

Latest News :- Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar met former Prime Minister Deve Gowda at his residence. Vice President Jagdeep Thankar, who came to Bengaluru with his wife Sudesh Thankar to attend an event, met former Prime Minister and secular Janata Dal leader Deve Gowda at his residence.

The couple, who comes from an agricultural background, is said to have discussed the country's development journey and progress in the agriculture sector. The Vice President inquired about the health condition of Deve Gowda's wife Chennamma, who is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital, and wished her speedy recovery.

Deve Gowda's son and Union Minister Kumaraswamy were present during this meeting. Speaking to reporters later, Kumaraswamy said, “Former Prime Minister Deve Gowda and Vice President Jakdeep Dhankhar were close friends. During this meeting, they shared mutual respect and love. I have seen many times that the Vice President has great respect for the former Prime Minister.” The Prime Minister, both of them come from farming family backgrounds. The focus of their conversation was on the importance of agriculture and both discussed the remarkable progress being made in the agriculture sector.

He had planned this meeting the last time he came to Bengaluru. However, this has just happened. During this meeting he inquired about the health of my mother who is undergoing treatment in the hospital due to health problems. He also wished for his speedy and complete recovery.”
