Srinivas Vanga, MLA from Balkar constituency of Maharashtra. He is from Chief Minister Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena and has not been given a second chance in the upcoming assembly elections. In his place, former M.P. Shinde chose Rajendra Kavit as his candidate. Vanga was disappointed by this. He regrets leaving Uddhav Thackeray. But Vanga was upset because he was not given a seat, his wife said. After this, a search operation was conducted in the entire Balghar district in search of Vanga.

The next day, Chief Minister Shinde spoke to Vanga's family on phone. Pankaj Deshmukh, a Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray) executive, comes to Vanga's house and inquires. Yesterday it was expected that Vanga would contest the elections as an independent candidate and he would come to file his nomination. But due to his not coming the tension increased. His search intensified. Srinivas Vanga returned home early yesterday morning. When she reached home, Vanga talked to the whole family. His family said he later went out with friends, saying he needed rest.
