Latest News :- ISRO will launch the European Union's Proba-3 spacecraft from Sriharikota next month on a PSLV-XL rocket to study the solar system, Union Minister Jitendra Singh said yesterday. India Space Symposium 3.0 was held in New Delhi yesterday. Minister of State for Science and Technology Jitendra Singh, who participated in the seminar, said in an interview.
ISRO scientists will also be involved along with European scientists in the study of the Sun's corona. For this, ISRO will launch the European Union's Proba-3 spacecraft on the PSLV-XL rocket next month. The Proba-3 spacecraft will carry two satellites. They work together. The 144 meter long instrument is known as the Solar Chronograph. This will help us study the bright coronal region of the Sun, called the corona.
This will be the first opportunity in the world to study the Sun accurately. In this study the Sun's corona will be studied in detail. For the last 70 years only a select few countries have been involved in space exploration. The space sector has been opened up to the public sector through the new space policy of 2023. This will lead to significant growth in the industry.
India plans to set up a space station by 2035 and land the first Indian man on the Moon by 2040. At present, most sectors of the country are using aerospace technology. Space technology promotes the construction of smart cities by providing navigation information and sending satellite images. India's contribution to the global space economy currently stands at 2 percent. This will increase to 10 percent in the coming years. Minister Jitendra Singh said this.
