Latest News :- Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has said that the winter session of Parliament will start from November 25. In this regard, in a post published on social media yesterday, he said, on the recommendation of the Central Government, the President has approved holding the winter session of both the Houses of Parliament from November 25 to December 20. Constitution Day is going to be celebrated on 26th November. On that day, the 75th anniversary of the Constitution Day will be celebrated in the Central Hall of the Old Parliament House. Minister Kiran Rijiju said this. Regarding the winter session, central government sources said, the Waqf Amendment Bill was passed in the Lok Sabha in the last monsoon session.
Due to strong opposition from opposition parties, the bill has been sent to the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) for consideration. JPC will present its recommendations during the winter session. Efforts will also be made to pass the Waqf Amendment Bill in this session. The Union Cabinet has already approved the One Country, One Election scheme. A bill in this regard will be presented in Parliament. Steps will be taken to implement the recommendation to give statehood to Kashmir.
An important agreement has been signed between India and China on the Ladakh border. Due to this, the tension that has been going on for 4 years on the border has reduced. Union Foreign Minister Jaishankar will give detailed information in this regard in Parliament. The Central Government will soon hold an all-party meeting regarding the smooth conduct of the winter session. Similarly, a separate all-party meeting will be held under the chairmanship of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. Central government sources said this.
