Vietnam-Korea Character Licensing Festival to arrive in Binh Duong this October

VKCLF offers fans of culture and innovation the chance to immerse themselves in the vibrant world of characters while exploring the unique cultural and culinary traditions of Korea.

The festival is also an ideal venue for businesses and content creators to expand their networks, explore new markets, and establish potential partnerships in this rapidly growing sector.

First launched in 2023, VKCLF has quickly gained popularity as a prominent cultural event in the region. With more than 80 businesses and 120 booths from Vietnam and Korea, the inaugural event left a lasting impression on the local community and was named one of the top 10 cultural, sports, and tourism events of the year in Binh Duong Province.

Following the success of the first edition, KOCCA Vietnam (Korea Creative Content Agency in Vietnam) and the World Trade Center Binh Duong New City will once again co-host VKCLF 2024, with the aim of establishing it as a prestigious annual cultural event.

This year’s festival will offer a wide range of interactive activities designed to inspire creativity and foster engagement.

Attendees can visit exhibition booths, meet and take photos with famous Korean characters, try on traditional Hanbok attire, and explore Korean cuisine and culture. There will also be B2B networking opportunities with over 100 businesses from Vietnam and Korea involved in the character licensing industry. Seminars will feature iconic characters and popular Korean animations, alongside fun activities like “Quick Quiz, Win Big Prizes” and “Random Dance K-pop.”

VKCLF 2024 will run in tandem with the Learn & Play Festival 2024, creating an enriching space for shopping and discovery. With over 100 booths and various exciting attractions, including the “Magical Planet” play zone, unique stage performances, meet-and-greets with children’s authors, and a lucky draw with valuable prizes, the event promises an unforgettable experience for all attendees.

Both festivals will take place at Hall A2, WTC Expo Binh Duong New City, Lot A19, Hung Vuong Street, Hoa Phu Ward, Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong Province.
