Girls should marry before becoming independent says Saba Faisal

Lahore: Renowned Pakistani actress Saba Faisal has stated that girls should marry after becoming sensible but before achieving independence.

Recently, during a podcast appearance, Saba Faisal shared her thoughts on various topics including her relationships with her daughters-in-law and her past mistakes as a mother-in-law.

Saba Faisal mentioned that she loves both of her daughters-in-law and often posts pictures with them. She noted that her younger daughter-in-law is very popular among fans possibly due to her style of wearing a hijab or her gentle demeanour which often leads to her pictures going viral.

In response to another question, she advised unmarried girls to marry at the right age. While she doesn’t advocate for marriage at 20, she believes that 30 is too late for marriage as well.

The actress emphasized that she is not being old-fashioned but is speaking from her experience. She believes that girls should marry by the age of 25 as they become sensible by then. However, by the age of 30 or older, when girls have matured and become independent, they often think they do not need a partner which she considers a mistake.

She also pointed out that by this age, girls lose the habit of compromising while any relationship relies on compromise.
