The teaser video of Mahath Raghavendra’s upcoming film Kadhale Kadhaleby R Premnath, dropped on Saturday.
The glimpse shows Mahath as a playboy who has a hard time staying loyal to one woman. In another segment, we are shown an old-school romantic couple from a village. The film looks to highlight the shallowness of the current generation’s romance.
The film, which stars Meenakshi Govindharajan as the female lead, also has Bharathiraja, Vtv Ganesh, Raveena Ravi, Raj Ayyappa, Sreeja, VJ Ashiq, Akshatha, Parvez, Advaith, and Anshitha in prominent roles.
Backed by P Ranganathan of Sri Vaari Films, Kadhale Kadhale went on floors last October and the shooting was wrapped in March this year. The film also stars veteran director Bharathiraja, VTV Ganesh, KS Ravikumar and Raveena Ravi, among others.
In a previous conversation with CE about the film, director Premnath said, “Kadhale Kadhale is set in today’s world that swipes left and right to choose their partners. With a fun take on modern-day romance, the film tries to explain how love and relationships have evolved over the years.”
The technical team of Kadhale Kadhale includes music composer Vishal Chandrashekar, DOP Sudharshan Govindarajan and editor Thiyagu. The makers are yet to announce a release date for the film.
