Atishi became the third and youngest woman Chief Minister of Delhi, took blessings by touching Arvind Kejriwal's feet

New Delhi. Delhi's new Chief Minister Atishi has taken oath today. With this, Atishi has become the third and youngest woman CM of Delhi. Delhi's Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena administered the oath of Chief Minister to Atishi. After taking oath, Atishi touched the feet of Aam Aadmi Party convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and took his blessings. The Lieutenant Governor also administered the oath of ministership to Aam Aadmi Party MLAs Gopal Rai, Kailash Gehlot, Saurabh Bhardwaj, Mukesh Ahlawat and Imran Hussain. Atishi's tenure as Chief Minister will be very short as assembly elections are to be held in Delhi soon.

After taking oath as a minister, Gopal Rai said that now the goal in front of all of us is to take the work started in Delhi under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal to new heights till the next elections. Along with this, we will work as a team to control the pollution that increases during winters. We will also work on other pending works.

After being made a minister in the Delhi Cabinet, AAP MLA Kailash Gehlot said that Arvind Kejriwal's guidance will continue as the national convener of the party. Our only goal is to work for the people of Delhi as before, which will continue in the future as well and to bring Arvind Kejriwal back in the upcoming assembly elections.

After taking oath as minister, Mukesh Ahlawat said that it is all because of Arvind Kejriwal and Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar that people like me become ministers. We will work for the people of Delhi as much as possible. Our priorities will be to work for the people of Dalit and backward communities.
