Firing on the convoy of Haryana Congress candidate Pradeep Chaudhary, a supporter seriously injured due to bullet injuries

An incident of firing on the convoy of Congress candidate Pradeep Chaudhary has come to light in Panchkula, Haryana. Pradeep Chaudhary, who is the Congress candidate from Kalka assembly seat, was attacked when he was campaigning in Raipur Rani. According to the information, miscreants opened fire on his convoy near Bharouli village.

In this attack, Pradeep Chaudhary's supporter, Goldy Kheri, was shot twice. Goldy was travelling in the convoy's vehicle, who was first admitted to a local hospital in critical condition, then he was referred to Chandigarh for better treatment.

The identity of the attackers who opened fire has not been ascertained yet, and the reason for the attack is also not clear. However, according to sources, this attack may be related to gang war, as Goldie Kheri is also considered a gangster. Initial investigations suspect this attack to be due to enmity. At present, the police is investigating the matter and the search for the attackers is on.

On the alleged firing incident on Congress candidate Pradeep Chaudhary, Panchkula Youth Congress President Nayab Chaudhary says, “…we were going to campaign for Pradeep Chaudhary…as soon as we reached the village bus stand, the boy who was shot, Goldie, was making a video…suddenly we heard sounds like firecrackers. At first we thought people were bursting firecrackers, but women told us that shots were fired…the attackers fled. Two people were shot, one on the chest and one on the hand…”
