Telegram is a threat to the country, Ukraine banned the app, accused Russia of spying

New Delhi: Ukraine has banned the social media platform Telegram. Ukraine believes that this social media platform can prove to be dangerous for government and military officials. Ukraine also claimed and alleged that Russia is spying on its country through Telegram.

The ban on Telegram has been announced by Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council. A few days ago, Ukraine's GUR Military Intelligence Agency had said that Russia is spying on Ukraine through this social media platform.
