'Oye… Sab So Rahe Hai': Furious Rohit Sharma Shouts at Player But Netizens Get New Meme Material | WATCH

If you think that Rohit Sharma’s ‘strolling in the garden’ (roaming in the garden) remark – during the England Tests earlier this year – was an ultimate warning to his boys in a Test match, then you might need to reconsider it. The Indian captain has certainly given the netizens a classic meme material which is going to thrive on social media for a long time. Rohit Sharma was furious at his players in the ongoing Bangladesh Test in Chennai, shouting at them and asking them to wake up!

The viral video is reportedly from the second day of the Chennai Test when Bangladesh were gasping for breath against India’s potent bowling attack. Rohit, while setting the field, suddenly lost his cool and said, “Ae… Soye hue sab,” along with a few cuss words which was heard on the stump mic.

Take a look:

But above all, Rohit would be a happy captain as two of his young boys smashed fantastic hundreds to put Team India in a commanding position. Rishabh Pant brought up a soul-stirring sixth Test century on his comeback to the format, while Shubman Gill hit an elegant fifth Test hundred, and Ravichandran Ashwin picked three wickets to ensure another day of domination for India Chennai.

India had declared their second innings at 278/4 to set Bangladesh a target of 515, riding on Gill’s 119 not out – laced with 10 fours and four sixes, and Pant’s 109 – laced with 13 fours and four sixes – being the standout efforts.

Bangladesh showed some spunk in their second innings to reach 158 for four when play was called off at 4.25 pm due to bad light. They still need a whopping 357 runs for the result to be in their favour.

Bangladesh, tasked with a tall chase, showed better application than in their first innings. Shanto took it upon himself to lead their fightback.
