Oppo Find X8 Series Launch Date Tipped, Company Teases Slim Display Bezels Ahead of Debut

Tipster Oppo Find A has revealed the planned release date of the Oppo Find X8 series, which is expected to launch in China. The company has now also inspected the display of the smartphone, which can be seen next to the recently launched iPhone 16 Pro model with ultra-thin display edges.

Oppo Find X8 Series Release Date (Leaked Information)

According to a Weibo post (translated in Chinese) by a digital chat station tipster, the Oppo Find phone is expected to launch a few days after the release of ColorOS 15 based on Android 15, which is expected to arrive on October 17.

A leaked leaker of the unannounced devices claims that the Oppo Find X8 series will be joined by the Oppo Pad 3 Pro and the Enco X3. Earlier reports also suggested that Oppo will introduce new magnetic accessories, such as the recently leaked magnetic power bank for wireless charging.

If the tipster’s claims are true, the Chinese launch of the Oppo Find X8 is only a few weeks away. Oppo product director Pete Lau posted an image on X (formerly Twitter) showing the two smartphones side by side. The icons below the smartphone on the left indicate that it’s an iPhone, while the icon on the right indicates that it’s an Oppo phone running ColorOS.

Love’s post did not name the Android smartphones, but Ice Universe (@UniverseIce) responded to his post and said that the two devices were the iPhone 16 Pro and the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro Oppo Find X8. The same user also claims that Oppo phones have thinner bezels than Apple’s flagship iPhone.

According to previous reports, the successor to the Oppo Find chipset is expected to be announced soon and will compete with Qualcomm’s 4th generation Snapdragon 8, which is expected to launch in October. Further details about the smartphone are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
