Rahul Gandhi will go to Jammu and Kashmir for election campaign next week, will also meet professionals

Jammu : Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will visit Jammu and Kashmir next week for election campaign. During this, he will also hold a meeting with professionals from various fields in Jammu on September 25. During this meeting, he will try to understand the current issues facing the professional community of Jammu and Kashmir. Through this meeting, the professionals here will get a platform to openly discuss their problems so that their voice can be heard at the national level. During this time, Rahul Gandhi will also hold several election rallies here.

Regarding this, Sanjay Sapru, head of the Jammu and Kashmir unit of the All India Professionals Congress (AIPC), said that this meeting called 'Dogri Dham' will be held during Rahul Gandhi's visit to Jammu and Kashmir in connection with the election campaign. Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha, will also hold a meeting with professionals in Srinagar during this period and will try to better understand the issues facing these communities.

Will hold meeting with professionals in Jammu

“We are organising a special meeting of Jammu and Kashmir professionals with Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on September 25 in Jammu,” Sapru told PTI. He emphasised that the event is an important opportunity for professionals to have an open dialogue about the key challenges of the region. It also provides them a platform to raise their concerns at the national level.

Will also hold meeting in Kashmir

Sapru, who heads the AIPC Jammu and Kashmir unit, said, “For the first time, a political platform like AIPC is giving professionals an opportunity to share their concerns, aspirations and views directly.” He said Rahul Gandhi's participation underlines the growing acceptance of the importance of the professional community in shaping the future of Jammu and Kashmir. He said after the Jammu event, a similar meeting will be held in Kashmir, the date of which is being finalised.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is also scheduled to campaign and hold public meetings in favour of Congress candidates in Srinagar and Jammu in the next few days. A party leader said that on September 23, during the second phase of Jammu and Kashmir elections, Rahul Gandhi will address a rally in favour of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress president and former minister Tariq Hamid Karra in Shalateng constituency of Srinagar and another rally in Surankot constituency of Poonch district. He is also likely to address a public meeting in Jammu on September 25.
