India declared the innings at the score of 287 runs; Bangladesh faces a huge target of 515 runs

IND vs BAN 1st Test Day 3 Live Update: India is looking in a very strong position on the third day of the Chennai Test. The team declared its innings at 287 runs after losing four wickets in the second innings. Rishabh Pant and Shubman Gill scored centuries in this innings. After which Bangladesh has got a target of 515 runs to win.

On the third day of the Chennai Test, India started playing from a score of 81/3. During this, Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant adopted an aggressive attitude in the first session and attacked the Bangladeshi bowling fiercely and by the lunch break, India's score in the second innings reached 205/3 in 51 overs. Gill remained unbeaten after scoring 86 runs and Pant 82 runs. After this, in the second session, Pant reached a century in 124 balls, this is the sixth century of his Test career.

However, Pant could not extend his innings. Mehdi Hasan Miraz got him caught and bowled out on a personal score of 109 runs. Pant's innings included 13 fours and 4 sixes. When Pant was out, India's score was 234 runs. After this, Gill completed his fifth Test century on 161 runs. At the same time, India declared its second innings on a score of 287 runs.

Gill remained unbeaten on 119 runs and KL Rahul on 22 runs. Mehdi Hasan Miraz took 2 wickets for Bangladesh. Taskin Ahmed and Nahid Rana got 1-1 wickets.
