Congress’ Kisan Nyay Yatra has started in Madhya Pradesh. Under the leadership of Jeetu Patwari, Congress is fiercely cornering the BJP government demanding soybean prices to be ₹ 6000, wheat prices to be ₹ 2700 and paddy prices to be ₹ 3100 per quintal. Even today, Jeetu Patwari said during his visit to Harda that our journey to get justice for the farmers is now moving forward. We will close all the mandis of the state for a day and demand an increase in MSP.
Yesterday also Congress protested in entire Madhya Pradesh with tractor rally. Congress has challenged that if the demand is not met then they will close the mandis, block the roads, today also Jeetu Patwari while addressing the farmers in Harda attacked BJP on the comments made by Rahul Gandhi and said – Is it their fault to increase the income of farmers from farming? – Is it a mistake to talk about farmers’ children getting MSP? – Is it their fault to raise the voice of small shopkeepers? – Is it their fault to raise the voice of the poor? So tell me what is Rahul Gandhi’s fault.
Yesterday also, a memorandum was given in Indore by taking out a “Kisan Nyay Yatra” and tractor rally under the leadership of former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh and State Congress President Jeetu Patwari. Thousands of farmers arrived on tractors, Congress demonstrated in many districts of Madhya Pradesh like Harda, Betul, Chhindwara, Burhanpur.
And Congress has talked about closing the mandi and doing chakkajaam. What is the response of the BJP government of the state to this? Will the farmers get an increase in MSP or will they be disappointed again?
