When I entered industry, people said lot to my parents says Tripti Dimri

Bollywood actress Tripti Dimri has spoken about the challenges she faced when stepping into the film industry.

Speaking on actress Katrina Kaif’s YouTube channel, Tripti revealed that she wanted to start her career in acting for which many people criticized her and tried to create obstacles.

The actress shared, “I am originally from the state of Uttarakhand, but I was born and raised in the capital, New Delhi. It was very difficult for me to live in Mumbai because people in society and my family would say various things to my parents, like ‘Why are you sending your daughter into this profession? She’s making a wrong decision, and if she becomes an actress, no one will want to marry her.’”

Tripti further said, “There was a point when I was confused because when you are not getting work, you lose hope. But one thing I knew was that I could not go back to my parents and tell them that I couldn’t do it.”

The actress also mentioned that after the release of her first film Laila Majnu, her parents were very proud and happy.

Talking about her work, she said, “I have done many films, for which I am grateful to God. Recently, in the blockbuster film Animal, my work was greatly appreciated, and fans have started calling me the ‘National Crush’.”
