Rape charges fixed on Daati Maharaj of Shanidham, case will be filed against his brothers too

New Delhi. Daati Maharaj, the founder of Shanidham in Delhi, is in trouble. Delhi's Saket Court has given permission to prosecute Daati Maharaj by framing charges against him in the rape case. The court has also ordered to start the case against Daati Maharaj's two brothers Arjun and Ashok. Daati Maharaj was accused of rape by one of his disciples in 2016. The disciple had said that Daati Maharaj had raped her on two different occasions. The victim student had accused 5 people including Daati Maharaj's brothers of supporting him.

The victim had filed a rape complaint against Daati Maharaj in June 2018. In the FIR, the police had registered a case against Daati Maharaj under sections 376 (rape) and 377 (unnatural sexual relations), 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC. However, Daati Maharaj completely denied these allegations and called it a conspiracy to implicate him. The Delhi High Court handed over the investigation of this case to the CBI in October 2018. Actually, the victim was not satisfied with the investigation of the Delhi Crime Branch and she had demanded a CBI investigation from the High Court.

The hearing of this case started in the fast track court in December 2019. After this, the hearing of the debate to frame charges against Daati Maharaj started in the fast track court from March 2020. Let us tell you that the real name of Daati Maharaj is Madanlal Rajasthani. Madanlal, who initially worked in catering, also gained knowledge of astrology. After this, he opened an astrology center in Kailash Colony, Delhi and changed his name to Daati Maharaj. After this, he established Shanidham and became famous all over the country.
