UP NEWS: Fire breaks out in a paan masala factory, 300 workers were working there

Vikram Mishra, Lucknow. A fire broke out in a pan masala factory in Nadarganj area around 11 pm. Around 300 workers were working in the factory at that time. Pan masalas like Rajshree and Kamalapasand are made in this factory. Around 300 to 500 workers work here in one shift. There is no untoward news of any kind of accident that happened last night.

In this factory named K Flavor, Pan Masala flavor was being mixed with betel nut and nugget and dried. Heater is used to dry betel nut. All the workers were cutting the nugget and drying the betel nut through heater. Then suddenly fire started coming out of the heater after which the fire spread.

Controlled after much effort

As soon as the news of fire in the spice factory and 300 workers being trapped was received, the fire department immediately dispatched its 2 fire brigade vehicles. After about 3 hours of hard work, the fire could be controlled.
