New Delhi: India routed Bangladesh by 280 runs in the first Test on Sunday at the M.A Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Local lad Ravichandran Ashwin displayed all-round brilliance to keep the hosts ahead in the competition right from the first day. The Rohit Sharma-led side leads the two-match series 1-0 with the second Test scheduled in Kanpur from September 27 onwards.
