India beat Bangladesh by 280 runs in the first test; R. Ashwin showed his magic with the ball after the bat

IND vs BAN 1st Test Highlights: In the first test match being played at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, India has registered a spectacular victory by defeating Bangladesh by 280 runs. In this match, India declared the second innings after scoring 287 runs on the third day. After which Bangladesh got a target of 515 runs to win. But, the visiting team collapsed on a score of 234 runs in the second innings. The hero of India's victory in this match was Ravichandran Ashwin, who performed brilliantly with both bat and ball.

On the fourth day of the first test match between India and Bangladesh being played at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, Bangladesh team started playing ahead with a score of 158/4. The team needed 357 runs on the fourth day, while India needed 6 wickets to win. During this, Nazmul Hussain Shanto and Shakib Al Hasan started playing fast in the first session of the fourth day. Both of them together added 36 runs. But, Ashwin strengthened India's grip on the match by dismissing Shakib (25). At the same time, Jadeja broke the back of Bangladesh's batting by sending Liton Das (1) to the pavilion cheaply.

Ashwin equaled Shane Warne's record of most 5-wicket hauls in Tests (37 5-wicket hauls) by dismissing Mehdi Hasan Miraz (8). After this, captain Shanto, who was playing on a personal score of 82, became Jadeja's second victim while trying to play a big shot. Taskin Ahmed (5) became Ashwin's sixth victim. At the same time, Jadeja ended Bangladesh's second innings by sending Hasan Mahmud to the pavilion.
