Here’s when the Supernatural comedy anime hits streaming platforms

New Delhi: The perfect blend of the elements of supernatural forces along with comedy to keep the lighthearted mood going for those weak of heart, Dandadan is the latest anime adaptation release bound to hit streaming platforms this year in October.

The anime, originally a manga series in the genres of Shounen and occult themes, was written and illustrated by Yukinobu Tatsu. The manga has over 15+ chapters collected in tankobon volumes until 15th July 2024.

With its fast-growing popularity and growing fanbase, the manga was adapted into an anime television series set to premiere this upcoming October.

Plot

What happens, when two people of different beliefs and ideologies meet each other, and decide to join forces just to make the other believe that what they believe in is real and very much existing in their world? That is the relationship between Momo Ayase and Ken Takakura, while Momo believes in the supernatural and undead spirits, she has no belief in aliens or beings of origin in space.

However, her classmate, Ken Takakura is her polar opposite, with evident disbelief in stories and beliefs of the supernatural, but is obsessed with the idea of aliens and their existence in outer space. The plot begins with a proposal, to make the latter believe that what they believe in is the truth, the two combine forces and decide to discover these places possessed with both supernatural beings and creatures from outer space.

Therefore With Momo visiting the place rumored to be the dwelling of aliens and Takakura visiting the supernatural being’s den, however, they both face rising problems when Momo is abducted by aliens, blocking her chakras accidentally and enabling her with psychic abilities. The same, in a different context happens to Takakura, who is possessed by a spirit. Together the two must work for the benefit of the same goal to defeat the aliens that plague their planet.
