Holiday in Punjab – A holiday has been declared in Faridkot district of Punjab tomorrow on 23rd September. Deputy Commissioner cum District Magistrate Faridkot Vineet Kumar has declared a local holiday on 23 September 2024 (Monday) in all government offices and educational institutions etc.

In the orders issued by the deputy commissioner, it has been said that on the occasion of the arrival of Baba Sheikh Faridji, there will be a one-day holiday in all the government offices and educational institutions of Faridkot district on September 23.

Along with this, the festive season is also about to start in the country. Banks and offices will remain closed for many days in the month of October. There will also be holidays in schools. In such a situation, if you are planning to roam or go out in the festive season, then this news is for you. The holidays will start from October 2 i.e. Gandhi Jayanti. On this day there is a public holiday in the whole country. Banks, government offices, schools and colleges are closed. In Rajasthan, there will be a holiday on Navratri Sthapana and Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti on October 3. There will be Durga Ashtami on 11th, Dussehra on 12th, Vijayadashami on 12th and Diwali holiday on 31st October. Thus, there will be a total of 5 public holidays in the month of October except weekends.
