Mahhi Vij Responds To Trolls After Sharing Video Of Ailing Father: 'May You Get Some Positivity'

Mahhi Vij, who often shares her family life on Instagram, recently posted a video showing her caring for her ailing father. In the emotional clip, she revealed that the last 10 days were some of the hardest days of her life and hopes for her father’s speedy recovery. The video features Mahhi bathing her father, trimming his nails and providing support he needs. She called him her pillar of strength and promised to always stand by his side. While many praised her for her dedication, others trolled the actress for sharing such private moments online. In response to the negative comments, Mahhi defended the video by explaining that it was her father’s wish to share this experience to spread a meaningful message about the importance of caring for aging parents.

In the caption she added, “These 10 days of my life have been the toughest. My father, who is my pillar, does every bit of my work so that I can be comfortable. Today when he needs me I want to possibly do everything to see him walking as he used to. I feel half of healing happens when they see their kids, a nurse cannot do what you can or for that matter help. I feel proud to be there for my father and hopefully in a month’s time he will be as he was. My brave father, My everything, M gonna be there, I love you papa.”

While fans and her industry friends, like Nisha Rawal, Kishwer Merchantt and Falaq Naazz showered love on her, others filled the comment section with negative response. However, hitting back at the trolls, Mahhi Vij wrote, “To all those my father was the one who wanted me to post this for nerds who leave their parents. To all those written negative comments god bless you all, may you get some positivity in everything you see.”

Earlier this year, Mahhi Vij surprised her parents with a stunning new house and gave a home tour in her vlog. In the clip, she explained how much effort she has put into every detail to ensure her parents feel comfortable. Recalling her journey, Mahhi shared that when she moved to Mumbai, she lived in many rented places and never imagined she would buy a house. However, Mahhi believes that destiny plays a big role in life. She also teaches her children the importance of doing good for others, no matter how others treat them.

Over the years, Mahhi Vij has worked in several hit shows, including Balika Vadhu, Laagi Tujhse Lagan, Kaisi Laagi Lagan and Sasural Simar Ka among others.
