Threatening speech against Rahul Gandhi, Congress protests in many parts of the country

A large number of Congress and allies participated in the protest led by state Congress president YS Sharmila in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. Slogans were raised against the BJP and its leaders. A large number of Congress workers gathered in Karnataka and raised slogans against Darvinder Singh Marwah, Ravneet Singh Bittu, Raghuraj Singh and Sanjay Gaikwad. The Congress party, which held a rally in Bihar in support of Rahul Gandhi, raised slogans against Prime Minister Modi, Darvinder Singh Marwah, Ravneet Singh Bittu, Raghuraj Singh and Sanjay Gaikwad.

The rally was presided over by Bihar Congress Committee President Akhilesh B Singh. He said that such comments against Rahul Gandhi are unforgivable and stressed that strict action should be taken against the culprits. Senior Congress leader and former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Khelat released a video on the matter and said, “BJP leaders are making derogatory comments against the Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi. The Prime Minister, Home Minister and BJP leaders are silent on this.” Gandhi talks about love and brotherhood in politics, he says that he has no complaint against Modi but BJP leaders are making aggressive statements.

This silence raises the question whether we should assume that all this is happening on their advice. Such violent comments are unacceptable. He stressed that the government should take action against such people and put them in jail. Earlier, the Congress party had filed a police complaint demanding action against BJP and Shiv Sena leaders who spoke harshly against Rahul Gandhi. Congress treasurer and general secretary Ajay Maken, who filed a complaint at the police station on Tughlaq Road in Delhi, said, “We all know that late Indira Gandhi and late Rajiv Gandhi sacrificed their lives for the country.” Even after this, they keep giving such threats. Indian politics cannot be taken to a lower level than this.

Not just one BJP leader, many leaders made such comments. But the BJP did not take any action. Rahul Gandhi speaks for SC, ST, OBC, tribals and minorities. That is why his words are not liked by the BJP people. That is why they threaten him. But let me tell you – this is the Congress party, we will not be scared or intimidated,” he said. The complaint filed by Ajay Maken states, “Darvinder Singh Marwah, who spoke at a BJP event on September 11, openly threatened to kill opposition leader Rahul Gandhi. Behave properly, otherwise you will also meet the same fate as your grandmother,” he said.

Minister of State for Railways Ravneet Singh Bittu has called Rahul Gandhi 'the country's number one terrorist'. BJP's Uttar Pradesh minister Raghuraj Singh also expressed the same opinion. Shiv Sena MLA Sanjay Gaikwad has said that Rs 11 lakh will be given to the person who cuts Rahul Gandhi's tongue. He has deliberately spoken against Rahul Gandhi with the aim of disturbing peace and inciting violence. His comments have been widely shared on TV channels and social media. Rahul Gandhi has been constantly raising issues related to backward sections of society such as women, youth, Dalits and other oppressed sections. Rahul Gandhi has also accused the BJP of failing to address such key issues.

Unable to accept such criticism, the leaders of BJP and its allies are making such hateful comments against the Leader of the Opposition of India. They are speaking in view of the Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana Assembly elections. Therefore, a First Information Report should be lodged against them under Sections 351, 352, 353, 61 of the BNS immediately without any delay. It was emphasized.
