Prasidh Krishna’s magic worked…match turned in 9 overs, India-A won against India C for title

In the Duleep Trophy 2024, the India-A team under the captaincy of Mayank Agarwal has made a splash and won the title. Fast bowler Prasidh Krishna has played an important role in this victory. In the last match of the Duleep Trophy 2024 season, India-A defeated India-C, captained by Ruturaj Gaikwad, by 132 runs.

New Delhi: In the Duleep Trophy 2024, the India-A team under the captaincy of Mayank Agarwal has made a splash and won the title. Fast bowler Prasidh Krishna has played an important role in this victory. In the last match of the Duleep Trophy 2024 season, India-A defeated India-C, captained by Ruturaj Gaikwad, by 132 runs.

India C had a target of 350 runs to win the match. In response to this, the condition of the team worsened and they started trying to make it a draw. Whereas India-A needed 4 wickets in the last 9 overs to win.

Krishna’s worked magic and took 3 wickets:

In such a situation, Krishna worked his magic and took 3 wickets and bundled out India C for 217 runs. Sai Sudarshan was the last hope of the India-C team. But he also became a victim of Krishna. Sudarshan was out after scoring 111 runs.

Although, apart from captain Ruturaj, there were batsmen like Ishan Kishan and Rajat Patidar in the India C team, but all of them failed. India C needed only a draw and the team was close to it but Prasidh dashed its wishes.

This is how India A won the title:

Batting first after losing the toss in the match, the India-A team scored 297 runs. During this, Shashwat Rawat played a century inning of 124 runs. While Vijaykumar Vaishak took 4 wickets. After this, Avesh Khan and Aaqib Khan took 3-3 wickets and bundled out the India C team for 234 runs. In this way, India-A got a lead of 63 runs in the first innings.

In the second innings, the India A team declared the innings after scoring 286 runs for 8 wickets and set a target of 350 runs. In response, the India C team could score only 217 runs and lost the match. In the second innings, Tanush Kotian and Prasidh Krishna took 3 wickets each.
