PM Modi reached New York, 14 thousand Indians will participate in the mega event

New York: Prime Minister Modi has now reached New York after attending the Quad (Quadrilateral Security Dialogue) summit held in Wilmington, USA, where he will address a conference at the United Nations General Assembly. After reaching here, he met Indian expatriates and artists performing here. Earlier, US President Joe Biden hosted the annual Quad summit in his hometown of Wilmington, Delaware, which was attended by Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.

Prime Minister Modi, who is on a three-day visit to the US, also held bilateral meetings with US President Joe Biden and the Prime Ministers of Australia and Japan on the sidelines of the Quad summit.

After this, Prime Minister Modi will address the Indian community in Long Island, New York on Sunday. After this, he will address the 'Summit of the Future' program at the United Nations General Assembly on the next day i.e. on September 23. Prime Minister Modi will also hold a meeting with the CEOs of leading American companies in the field of artificial intelligence, quantum computing and semiconductors.

Today, PM Modi will address Indians in Long Island, New York. About 14 thousand people are expected to attend this program. Along with this, PM Modi will address Indian immigrants at the Knaus Veterans Memorial Coliseum. This program has been named 'Modi and US: Progress Together'. This program is considered a symbol of the warmth of the American-Indian community.

The Indian community living in America is also very excited about this program. It was told that about 13200 people are going to participate in this program who will be a representative of India's diversity. There are more than 500 welcome partners of this program. Apart from this, 500 artists will exhibit their art. 150 media persons from about 85 institutions will participate in the program. India's art and culture will be showcased in this program.

Let us inform you that at present around 51 lakh people of Indian community live in America. Out of these, 70% are graduates which is almost double the national average of America. Despite being 1.5% of the total population of America, people of Indian community pay 5 to 6% tax.

Let us tell you that while leaving Wilmington, Prime Minister Modi said that the Quad (Quadrilateral Security Dialogue) is not against anyone but it is in favor of a rules-based international order and respect for sovereignty. Prime Minister Modi said at the summit here, “A free, open, inclusive and prosperous Indo-Pacific is our priority.”

Without naming any country, the Prime Minister said, “We are not against anyone. We all support a rule-based international order, respect for sovereignty, territorial integrity and resolution of all issues in a peaceful manner.” The Prime Minister was indirectly pointing towards China.
