Munjya Telugu OTT Release Date: Shravani and Abhay Verma’s horror comedy Munjya, which is Maddock Supernatural Universe’s fourth Installment, is now available in Tamil and Telugu Languages.
Helmed by Aditya Sarpotdar, the thriller film, on August 25th, 2024, made its digital debut on Disney + Hotstar after enjoying a monumental theatrical run on the big screens. However, at that time, its makers didn’t roll out the Tamil and Telugu dubbed version for the audiences & only the Hindi dubbed version of the blockbuster movie was released on the online streaming platform.
Nevertheless, from today ( September 22nd, 2024) onwards, Disney + Hotstar has made Munjya’s Tamil and Telugu versions available on its platform and audiences can watch it hassle-free right from the comfort of their homes.
About the Movie
Made on a small budget of Rs 30 crores, Munjya graced the big screens on June 7, 2024. In no time, the movie became the talk of the town with the cinegoers & critics hailing it as a masterpiece. The Mona Singh starrer amassed a whopping total of Rs 132 crore by the conclusion of its theatrical run, emerging as a massive sleeper hit as well as the sixth-highest-grossing Hindi movie of 2024.
Currently, the film is streaming online on Disney + Hotstar in Hindi Tamil, and Telugu Languages, garnering acclaim from the OTTianns from different parts of the country.
Cast and Production
In its star-studded cast, Munjya features Sharvani, Sarhyaraj, Abhay Verma, and Mona Singh in the lead roles. Additionally, the horror drama also sees actors like Anay Kamat, Ajay Purkar, Suhas Joshi, Khushi Hajare, Taranjot Singh, Bhagyashree Limaye, Ayush Ulagadde, Richard Lovatt, and Shruti Marathe among others essaying side characters.
Ace writer Yogesh Chandekar has penned the film’s story while Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik have bankrolled it under the banner of Maddock Films.
